how we were hatched

nesting instincts was born out of years of helping friends and family decorate their homes. I am passionate about surrounding myself with an environment that is pleasing to the eye and the soul, and I want others to benefit from that passion. I love to see other people's spirits lifted by my creativity. After my second daughter was born, I decided to turn my dream of being a creative small business-owner into reality.

wife to Chad and mom to two fabulous girls, ages 3 and 1
5+ yrs. experience with retail merchandising & display
4+ yrs. experience as a worship leader, during which I designed many big events
hobbies include decorating (of course!), shopping, gardening, reading, songwriting, entertaining, and hanging out with my husband and girls
favorite shoes: my snakeskin-patterned pumps, for sure, but my metallic sneakers are a close second
